Our Grand Rapids location opened November 2011, where Dr. Steve Lasater focuses exclusively on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and age-management medicine. Dr. Lasater has trained extensively with our founding physicians and incorporates the same scientifically-based approach to age-management medicine. PhysioAge Grand Rapids offers many of the same services as New York, including biomarkers of aging and body composition testing. All PhysioAge practices are committed to enabling patients to extend their healthspan through hormonal balance, nutrition, supplementation and exercise.

Medical Director –Steve R. Lasater MD, FAAFP
Dr. Lasater received his BA degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas in 1975 and his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1979. He then completed a Family Medicine residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa (affiliated with the University of Iowa College of Medicine) and is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He also completed a Fellowship in Hyperbaric & Undersea Medicine at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1984. After 25+ years practicing these specialties, he pursued additional training to become board-certified in the fields of Clinical Lipidology and of Bariatric Medicine, prior to finding his niche in the field of age management medicine and hormone replacement. He is an adjunct clinical faculty member with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and has served on short-term medical mission projects to Honduras and Nicaragua with the Christian Medical Association.

Christy Roth is a Certified Medical Assistant with additional experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, medical practice administrator, and phlebotomist. Christy has previously worked in the fields of alternative medicine and hormone replacement, and has participated in several church-sponsored medical mission programs to the underserved in Mexico and Central America. |
